<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance system with a central management device, which selects maintenance services in consideration of internal information and user's emotional condition when an image forming apparatus fails. <P>SOLUTION: The maintenance system of an image forming apparatus is connected to a support center (central management device) through a network or a telephone line.
