<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a working pressure as low as possible in strong winds to prevent the abnormal rise of discharge pressure and the stop of a compressor due to the operation of a pressure breaker, and to perform operation while enlarging an operable pressure range in a stably operable state. <P>SOLUTION: This air conditioner includes an outdoor unit, an indoor unit, connection piping for connecting the outdoor unit to the indoor unit, a refrigerating cycle and a control part. In the pressure breaker, its breaking pressure for stopping the operation of the air conditioner is set to be less than an allowable pressure of existing connection piping. In air-conditioning operation, when performing operation after the pressure breaker detects the breaking pressure and stops operation, the control part controls the compressor, an outdoor blower or an electronic expansion valve to make a high pressure side pressure lower than the normal operating pressure. According to the breaking frequency of the pressure breaker within a fixed time, the high pressure side pressure for which the control part controls the compressor, the outdoor blower or the electronic expansion valve, is made lower in high breaking frequency rather than in low breaking frequency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
