PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for ejecting an elastic roller from a pipe die without tearing or cracking of the surface of the elastic layer. SOLUTION: The method is employed for ejecting, from a pipe die, an elastic roller consisting of a core material arranged on the central axis of the pipe die and an elastic layer formed by injecting a material for the elastic layer into a hollow portion of the pipe die and hardening, and comprises displacing the core material or the pipe die so as to displace the central axes mutually, rotating the pipe die or the core material about the central axis of the pipe die as displaced with the phase angle between the pipe die and the core material kept, peeling the elastic layer from the wall surface of the pipe die, and then ejecting the elastic roller.
