PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device for syringe pumps designed to move a pushing element of a syringe based on the principle of a linear motor, which smoothly moves the pushing element with a small moving amount per step without requiring precision machining to reduce costs while securing sufficient force to move the pushing element. SOLUTION: The driving device for syringe pumps includes: a push member 20 formed in contact with the pushing element of a syringe; permanent magnets 30, 31 arranged in line in the direction of moving the pushing element; multiple solenoids A, B, etc., arranged opposite to the permanent magnets 30, 31; a slide member 22 on which the push member 20 and the solenoids A, B, etc., are installed; and a control unit configured to individually supply excitation current to the solenoids A, B, etc. The installation positions of the solenoids A, B, etc., are shifted in the direction of movement of the pushing element.
