EMBMS TRANSMISSION METHOD, SYSTEM AND APPARATUS

An enhanced multimedia broadcast multicast service transmission EMBMS method, system and apparatus are provided for improving the EMBMS receiving quality of user terminal. The provided EMBMS receiving method is applied to the process that a user terminal in the idle status uses the resource in the multi-cell point-to-multipoint mode to receive EMBMS in the multicast broadcast single frequency network, and the method includes: the user terminal sends an EMBMS request message to network side; said user terminal receives the configuration information of the resource in the single cell point-to-multipoint mode which is established for transmitting the EMBMS by the network side; said user terminal acquires, according to said configuration information, the resource in the single cell point-to-multipoint mode which is allocated for transmitting said EMBMS by said network side, and receives said EMBMS using the resource. The solution is provided for transmitting and receiving EMBMS in the multicast broadcast single frequency network, improving EMBMS receiving quality, and ensuring the continuity of the EMBMS reception.
