<p>Disclosed is a device for producing a tire reinforcement member under arbitrary conditions by increasing a degree of freedom in the arrangement of a plurality of linear members which are juxtaposed to the tire reinforcement material while being divided in the longitudinal direction. A cord (C) is coated with rubber by means of a rubber coating device (20) and fed to a device (30) for forming a tire reinforcement member, and then the cord (C) is cut into a predetermined length by means of a cutting device (40). Opposite ends of the cord (C) thus cut are then gripped by means of a pair of chucks (64, 65) of a dual-arm robot (60), and the cord (C) is held linearly by means of the dual-arm robot (60). The cord (C) is moved up to a placement position on the belt (32B) of a conveyor (32) by means of the dual-arm robot (60) and then placed at a predetermined position on the belt (32B). While circulation driving the belt (32B), the cords (C) are similarly arranged sequentially according to a predetermined pattern and brought into close contact with each other, thus forming a tire reinforcement member (H).</p> |
