METHOD OF TRANSMITTING INFORMATION FOR INTER RADIO ACCESS TECHNOLOGY HAND OVER

PURPOSE: A method of transmitting information for handover between heterogeneous networks is provided to use a super frame structure, thereby efficiently obtaining heterogeneous network information. CONSTITUTION: A base station transmits a super frame header to a terminal(S1101). A query response message is received to obtain heterogeneous network information(S1102). The base station arbitrarily transmits the heterogeneous network information to the terminal(S1103). The base station is unable to transmit a heterogeneous network information response message to the terminal in a corresponding super frame. The base station broadcasts the heterogeneous information to the terminal using a next super frame header(S1104).
