DOOR ENGAGEMENT DEVICE FOR ELEVATOR

In a door engagement device for an elevator, first and second engagement members are arranged on an elevator car door via interlocking link mechanisms. The interlocking link mechanisms change the distance between the first and second engagement members by moving their positions in an interlocked manner. A power transmission body is moved in the door opening/closing direction by a drive motor for opening and closing the door. A transmission body connection section connected to the power transmission body is provided on the first engagement member. In the interlocking link mechanisms, movement of the power transmission body moves the first engagement member in the direction parallel to the door opening/closing direction.
