<p>A communication system wherein a common control channel is used to transmit individual control information to the respective ones of a plurality of user terminals. In the communication system, a base station apparatus, when transmitting individual control information and predetermined control information to the user terminals, sorts the user terminals into groups in accordance with the contents of control information addressed to the user terminals; arranges the individual control information, addressed to the respective user terminals, in a predetermined group order; creates belonging-number information in which the numbers of user terminals belonging to the respective groups are arranged in the group order; and transmits the belonging-number information together with the individual control information addressed to the user terminals in the group order. Each user terminal receives the belonging-number information and individual control information from the base station apparatus; determines the order number of the individual control information addressed to that user terminal; determines, from the order number and belonging-number information, a group to which that user terminal belongs; and reconstructs, based on the group to which that user terminal belongs, the control information.</p> |
