PURPOSE: A micro-magnetic member having surface-enhanced-Raman-scattering activity is provided to serve as a biosensor capable of detecting environmental pollutants and biomass of very low concentration. CONSTITUTION: A micro-magnetic member having surface-enhanced-Raman-scattering activity comprises a micro-magnetic substance and a nanosilver particle layer. The nanosilver particle layer is formed on the surface of the micro-magnetic substance using silver ion and electroless plating solution. The electroless plating solution uses aliphatic or aromatic amine compound as reducing agent. The nanosilver particle layer has a surface roughness of 0.1~1000nm.
