PURPOSE: A steering sensing unit is provided to reduce the manufacturing cost and to prevent the malfunction by simplifying the rotation structure between a steering shaft and a sensor unit. CONSTITUTION: A steering sensing unit is composed of a housing, a printing circuit substrate unit, a rotor, and a driving force transmitting unit, and a sensor unit. A steering shaft(2) is passed through the housing. The rotor is rotated with the steering shaft. The driving force transmitting unit comprises a rotor gear unit and a magnet gear unit. The rotation shaft of the rotor gear unit is same as the rotation of the steering shaft. The rotation shaft of the magnet gear unit is crossed to the shaft direction of the steering shaft. The sensor unit comprises a sensing magnet and a sensor.
