PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device in which bound of the rear end of a transfer material conveyed from a transfer device is prevented to prevent blurring of a toner image unfixed on the transfer material due to sudden contact of the rear end of the transfer material with a belt member, and which can form a high quality image, and to provide an image forming apparatus and toner used in the image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: A contact roller 34 having a contact face 34a with which the rear end of transfer paper P conveyed from a transfer device comes in contact is disposed between the transfer device and a fixing inlet roller 32, and the contact face 34a of the contact roller 34 is positioned on a first conveyance route side A rather than the extension C of a belt member 33 from a nip part 35 of a heating roller 30 and a pressure roller 31.
