A METHOD FOR AVOIDING INTER-CELL INTERFERENCE IN A MULTI-CELL ENVIRONMENT USING MULTIPLE CODEBOOK

PURPOSE: A method for cancelling inter-cell interference in a multi-cell environment using a multiple codebook is provided to limit the use of a precoding vector which influences other cells in a base station of an interference cell, thereby improving performance of all cells. CONSTITUTION: A request is received from a terminal. The request is included on information about a codebook. The codebook is used in an adjacent cell generating interference in the terminal. Information about at least one codebook used in at least one adjacent cell is transmitted to the terminal. The transmission is performed using a handover message.
