PURPOSE: A mobile communication terminal for managing personal relationship and an operating method thereof are provided to transmit a say-hello text message to a receiver using personal registration information, thereby transmitting a say-hello text message which is made by a lot of efforts. CONSTITUTION: A personal relationship management unit(160) counts the number of receiving or originating each telephone number during predetermined time. The personal relationship management unit extracts at least one telephone number with receiving or originating numbers. The personal relationship management unit generates a personal relationship management list. A say-hello text message transmitting unit(170) originates a say-hello text message from the personal relationship management list.
