PURPOSE: A biomarker composition for detecting diabetic retinopathy is provided to specifically express the biomarker in a patient with PDR(proliferative diabetic retinopathy) and study vitreoretinal disorder. CONSTITUTION: A biomarker composition for detecting diabetic retinopathy contains a protein comprising amino acid sequence of sequence numbers 1-47, 49-68, or 70-150. The protein comprises an amino acid sequence of sequence numbers 4, 5, 8, 15, 19, 27, 30, 32, 33, 36, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 51, 52, 53, 55, 56, 59, 60, 62, 66, 67, 68, 69, 71, 74, 78, 83, 86, 88, 89, 91, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 100 or 105. Blood or urine is used as a test sample of the composition. A diagnosis kit for diabetic retinopathy comprises a molecule which specifically binds to proteins comprising amino acid sequences of sequence numbers 1~47, 49~68, and 70~105. The molecule is monoclonal antibody, polyclonal antibody, substrate, ligand or cofactor.
