<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anchor structure of a seat belt having the EA characteristic and capable of reducing the chest injury value of an occupant caused by the seat belt. <P>SOLUTION: The adjustable anchor structure of the seat belt has an anchor 12 mounted on a pillar 11 and a slider 13 having a shoulder belt fitting part 17. The anchor 12 comprises a downwardly extending first anchor member 14 with an upper end thereof being fastened to the pillar, and an upwardly extending second anchor member 15 with a lower end thereof being fastened to the pillar 11. The lower end of the first anchor member 14 is engaged with the second anchor member 15, and the upper end of the second anchor member 15 is engaged with the first anchor member 14. When a strong tension is applied to a seat belt 16 in a collision or the like, the first anchor member 14 and the second anchor member 15 are deformed inward of a cabin while slidably moving in the longitudinal direction to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
