<p>The drag mechanism (6) includes a friction disk (21), a cover member (26), a brake disk (22), and a drag adjusting mechanism (7). The friction disk (21) is in a storage space (36) of a first flange portion (9b) of a spool (4) and has an engaging recess (21 a) formed in an external circumferential surface. The cover member (26) has a cylindrical portion (26a) that fits into an internal circumferential surface of the storage space (36), an engaging protrusion (26e) on a distal end surface of the cylindrical portion (26a) to engage with the engaging recess (21 a), and a protruding portion (26f) that mate closely with an end face (9k) of the first flange portion (9b). The cover member (26) is fixed to the first flange portion (9b) and covers the storage space (36) from the outside. The brake disk (22) is arranged in the storage space (36) facing opposite the friction disk (21) and constructed not to rotate in a line reel-out direction. The cam mechanism (43) is designed to move the friction disk (21) and the spool (4) together along an axial direction of the spool (4) with respect to the brake disk (22) such that the friction disk (21) is pressed against the brake disk (22).</p> |
