PURPOSE: A geographic information system based an intelligent object monitoring system is provided to monitor a specific area efficiently by generating an alarm when there is an intruder. CONSTITUTION: A geographic information system based an intelligent object monitoring system includes a sensor(100), a plurality of photographing devices(200), and a plurality of control clients(300) and server(400). The sensor includes an RF tag module having tag data, a first antenna transmitting the tag data, a GPS antenna receiving a first position. A photographing device comprises a second RF antenna and a reader module. The second RF antenna receives the tag data and first position data. The reader module transmits the received tag data and the position data. The photographing device extracts object data from image data. A control client analyzes an authorized and unauthorized object from the object data.
