The use of a probiotic Lactobacillus rhamnosus and a probiotic Bifidobacterium longum in the manufacture of a medicament or therapeutic nutritional composition for administration to an infant during at least the first three months of life for the long-term prophylaxis of diarrhoea in infants and young children.
