<p>The method involves continuously transporting products i.e. pressed broth blocks, on a conveyer belt, and spacing the products during their progression towards a packaging unit. The products are pre-positioned before final spacing of the products using in combination a lower laminar gas flow forming air cushion for sustaining the products, lateral laminar gas flows acting on sides of the products for guiding the products, and an upper laminar gas flow with coanda effect for accelerating the products. An independent claim is also included for a device for supplying food product to a packaging unit by individual portions.</p> |
