The striker pin for a vehicle door latch 12 comprises a threaded pin 20 which screws into a fixing nut 22 when the pin is rotated by means of a driving washer 23 on hexagon 25. Rattle is reduced by mounting a sleeve 16 on the keeper pin 15 through a rubber sleeve 16 and by arranging that riveted-on head 18 engages a slideable wedge (19, Fig. 1, not shown). The washer 23 has flats 26 enabling it to be rotated for installation by a driving socket (not shown) and it is held in place against rim 28 by spun-up threads on pin 20.</p> |
