PURPOSE: A universal remote control device and a method thereof are provided to control devices using one remote control device, thereby efficiently using and keeping the remote control device. CONSTITUTION: A keypad(110) comprises one or more selection buttons. An input unit(120) inputs at least one among ID information or control signal groups. A storage unit(130) matches each control signal with buttons. A control signal generating unit(140) generates a control signal corresponding to a selected button. |
