PURPOSE: An implementation equipment for a pip function using a single tuner of a digital television is provided to output two screens of audio and video signals through a single tuner at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A single receiving unit(11) receives selectively a broadcasting signal, and a signal converting unit(12) converts the signal received from the receiving unit into an original signal. A decoding unit(13) classifies the signal outputted from the signal converting unit into a video signal and an audio signal. The decoding unit outputs the audio signal to an OSD(On Screen Display) layer as the main screen and the video signal to a video layer as the sub screen.
