The panel (P) has two insulating surfaces (1, 2) formed between circumferential sides (3-6), where a dimension of the panel between the circumferential sides is equivalent to a cavity anchor distance (A) that is defined by cavity anchors (14) provided in an inner leaf. A rim (7) is provided as a prolonged isolation and extends along one of the insulation surfaces. A recess (8) is formed in a side that is turned away from another perimeter side, where the recess cooperates with an edge of another insulation panel. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a cavity wall for a building comprising an inner leaf (2) a method for manufacturing a cavity wall.
