PURPOSE: A front side member for a vehicle is provided to improve the rigidity and appearance and to improve the structural rigidity of a junction by forming a flange part as a dual-flange. CONSTITUTION: A front side member for a vehicle is composed of a lower member plate and an upper member plate(5). A bent unit(9) is formed in the upper part of the upper member plate. The upper member plate is formed by a rolling forming method and is formed as a dual-flange. The upper member plate is welded on the top of the lower member plate.
