METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONTROLING SOUND MUTE

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for controlling sound mute are provided to receive a sound mute selection command from a user in software or hardware methods, thereby flexibly controlling sound mute. CONSTITUTION: An input unit(110) receives a sound mute selection command from a user through a mute icon or a hardware button. A processing unit(120) exposes an UI(User Interface) according to the sound mute selection command to receive sound mute processing information from the user.
