PHAMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION, FUNCTIONAL FOOD ADDITIVE LOMPRISING OF ANTI-CANCER AND IMMUNOO PROTEIN EXTRACT FROM LITHOSPERMI RADIX

摘要

PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing a protein extract isolated from Lithospermi radix for regulating anticancer immunity is provided to promote cytotoxicity and cytokine secretion. CONSTITUTION: A functional protein extract isolated from Lithospermi radix has anticancer and immunity efficiency. A method for producing the protein extract derived from Lithospermi radix comprises: a step of adding distilled water to Lithospermi radix to isolate water soluble Lithospermi radix extract; and a step of precipitating crude protein extract using 70% of ammonium sulfate and collecting crude protein fraction through dialysis. A pharmaceutical composition for anticancer contains Lithospermi radix-derived protein extract.
