PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display improving screen display quality by supplying the uniform luminance and improving the display quality is provided to accomplish enough diffusion of the light in a diffusion pattern which is formed in order to have fourth light discharging surfaces. CONSTITUTION: A light source(102) is arranged in a lower part of a liquid crystal panel. The light source supplies the light on the liquid crystal panel. A diffusion plate(103) is arranged on the top of the light source. The light in which the diffusing plate is emitted from the light source is diffused. A first light discharging surface of a plurality of diffusion patterns(104) is formed on the diffusion plate. A third diffusion plate and a fourth diffusion plate are formed in order to extend the first light discharging surface.
