Fibrous suspensions centrifugal separator - with curved coarse material discharge pipe acting as air trap

A centrifugal separator for suspensions, esp. fibrous suspensions for paper-making comprising a vortex chamber, tangential inlet, coaxial outlet for clarified liquid, and a coarse material discharge at the other end, is fitted with a curved discharge pipe leading from the coarse material discharge. This curved pipe prevents the air core in the vortex from leaving through the coarse materials discharge.
