The device (1) has a foundation (1') for removably carrying a number of anesthesia units, and an infusion pump for continuous administration of hypnotic liquid. A kapnographic unit is provided on a pet animal to remove carbon dioxide from breathing air. An input opening and an output opening are connected to links that are apart from an air ventilation circuit. The infusion pump includes an adjustable speed driven piston. A remote control device controls signals received from the anesthesia units. A central power supply unit provides power to the anesthesia units.
