PURPOSE: A transmission antenna selection method in a multiple antenna system and an apparatus thereof capable of allocating resources with degree of freedom are provided to improve the reception quality of a base station by selectively using the transmission antenna of a terminal. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of antennae signals is transmitted and received. A channel measurer(740) measures the channel quality according to each antenna. A controller(730) selects the transmission antenna by using the channel quality. The channel measurer divides frequency bands of received signals into a plurality of sections. The received quality about each sections signal is measured through the division.
