PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display for completely eliminating a lamp bright line or a lamp mura is provided to eliminate the lamp bright line by uniform liquid crystal display by embodying the surface light source. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of lamps is parallel arranged of a liquid crystal display panel. A plurality of lamps generates the light. A bottom cover purchases lamps. A diffusion plate(116) is arranged on the bottom cover. A plurality of diffusion patterns is formed on the surface of the diffusing plate. The diffusing plate diffuses the light which is income from lamps towards the LCD panel. The diffusion pattern includes a u-shaped flume projected from the surface of the diffusing plate.
