PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a shell and an oil film bearing comprising a shell manufactured by the same are provided to improve the productivity by improving the quality of a final product and to improve the durability. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a shell comprises the steps for manufacturing a body forming a hollow cylindrical shell by welding the connection after cutting and bending a plate member(S110), roughly cutting the body to have the extra of 3~5mm(S120), pickling to remove the impurities of the inner surface of the body, masking the deposit preventing agent to the area of the body in which a white metal is not deposited, executing the dehydrogenation heat treatment for removing the remaining hydrogen from the body, coating the adhesive force stiffening layer for improving the adhesive force of the body and the white metal, depositing the fused white metal component to the inner surface by using a centrifugal casting machine(S140), and executing the semi-rough cutting or finish cutting to form the shape of a shell by processing the body in which the white metal is deposited to the inner surface(S150).
