PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for generating a media file with media information compatible between media files in the same format, and a method and an apparatus for executing the media file are provided to input/output media information from/to the outside, thereby sharing media information that a user directly edits among different media files. CONSTITUTION: A digital item inserting unit(420) inserts one or more digital items to a media file. A template inserting unit(430) inserts one or more templates to the media file. An application inserting unit(440) inserts one or more applications to the media file.
