FOAMED GLASS HAVING HIGHSTRENGTH PROPERTY AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A foaming glass of high intensity containing alkali glass and non-alkali glass as active ingredients is provided. CONSTITUTION: A composition for producing foaming glass of high intensity comprises: 60-95 weight parts of alkali glass, 1-20 weight parts of foaming agent, and 5-40 weight parts of non-alkali glass. The alkali glass contains: complex of silicon dioide(SiO2), aluminum oxide(Al2O3), sodium oxide(Na2O), and potassium oxide(K2O); complex of calcium oxide(CaO) and magnesium oxide(MgO). The non-alkali glass contains silicon dioxide(SiO2), aluminum oxide(AL2O3), boron oxide(B2O3), calcium oxide(CaO), and magnesium oxide(MgO).
