A die for cutting rods and pipes of rectangular cross-section contains an upper plate with two wedges fastened thereon and an immovable lower plate, on which two movable cases with movable clamping sliders are located. The cases are spring loaded, located with possibility of sliding relative to each other, are made open by a quarter from one side, and along the cases grooves are made in which four sliders are installed which are conjugated with the grooves made as triangle isosceles prisms and are assembled to each other by faces which form a right angle, with possibility of mutual sliding along the faces, at that three sliders are spring loaded on one end, and the fourth slider rests on the wedge of upper plate. |
