METHOD FOR INDIRECT ASSESSMENT OF FUNCTIONAL STATE OF LOCOMOTOR SYSTEM

A method for the indirect assessment of the functional state of locomotor system is based on the statographic records of the displacement of the center of mass of the patient with the analysis of the curves obtained. The computed program allows one to transform the curves of the center of mass displacement to the amplitude-frequency characteristic of fluctuation of the center of mass. The anthropometric parameters of the patient are measured, and the amplitude and frequency of self-fluctuations for each segment are calculated. The actual values are compared with the calculated ones within the frequency range corresponding to the self-fluctuations of the segment under study. When the actual amplitude is less by 30% of the calculated value, the impairment in teh segment under study is diagnosed.
