A subsurface biogas generator contains a bioreactor, pipe for supply of biomass into the bioreactor, pipe for discharge of biogas, pipe with submersible pump for pumping out of sludge from the bioreactor housing. Bioreactor is filled to certain level with biomass and placed in special housing in earth stratum at depth, where temperature of housing walls is optimal for activity of methanogenic microorganisms (30…35 °C). The housing for the bioreactor is made using underground explosions in any rocks. As raw material for biomass municipal domestic waste-water and also waste water from large animal production units are used. For the work of bioreactor original strains of methanogenic microorganisms, existing in wastewater, are used. Gravitational forces of the earth are used for self flowing filling of the bioreactor housing by biomass with the purpose of providing of high pressure of biogas (8-10 MPa) in bioreactor housing and for the work of washing system of bioreactor housing by wash liquid. The present washing system of housing comprises a pipe for supply of biomass into the bioreactor and the pipe with submersible pump for pumping out of sludge from the bioreactor housing by the substitution in them of biomass and sludge by wash liquid. |
