The present invention refers to an improved mill for milling nixtamalized maize intended to produce masa for tortilla, tamales, chips, which does not work with milling stones but with a set of blades that rotate inside a screen, this latter element including a particle breaker and a perforated sheet, the nixtamal being introduced into the milling chamber by means of a forced feeding screw driven by an independent engine. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a nixtamal mill that is totally different from those currently available on the market, since it has a novel design and construction, which main characteristic is that it does not use milling stones, and may process nixtamal in an interrupted manner without adjustments and maintenance. The masa obtained from said mill has the same characteristics than that of masa obtained by stone mills, or a more or less fine texture if required.
