PURPOSE: An automatic door and a control method thereof are provided to prevent noise, and save energy by opening and closing an entrance when normal times, and prevent toxic gas from being flown to the outside in an emergency. CONSTITUTION: An automatic door comprises a door, a doorframe, a driving unit, a sensing unit, and a control unit. An insertion groove(44) in which the door is inserted is formed in the doorframe. The driving unit moves the door to the doorframe. The sensing unit senses a state of emergency. A signal from the sensing unit is transferred to the control unit, and the control unit controls a degree in which the door is inserted to the insertion groove by controlling the driving part. |
