PURPOSE: An electrochemical cell is provided to improve reliability and safety by preventing the deterioration using an auxiliary electrode having opposite polarity facing the deteriorated polarity. CONSTITUTION: An electrochemical cell comprises: electrode assemblies containing a monopolar electrode(711,743) and at least one quasi-bipolar electrode(715,725,735); auxiliary electrodes(721,722,741,742) which are arranged in order to be opposite to the electrode having a certain polarity that can generate deterioration in the electrode assembly; and electroconnecting units(701) which electrically connects the auxiliary electrodes and the electrode having a certain polarity. |
