A method for manufacturing an electrolyte for a high-temperature zirconium-ceramic fuel element, in which ore mineral ZrSiO(98 %) and Ti, A1, Fe (2 %) are processed by natrium hydroxide, calcined, solved in caustic soda; 5-10 % percentage by weight of yttrium chloride YC1are added; afterwards mixture is neutralized by ammonia; hydroxides are filtrated out; the said mixture is dried and calcined at 1000 °C until obtaining zirconium oxide equalized by yttrium oxide; thereafter it is used as the electrolyte for the high-temperature zirconium-ceramic fuel element. |
