PURPOSE: A portable terminal and a driving method thereof are provided to have an interface unit by motion and/or tactility, thereby preventing confusion with normal key/touch screen operation. CONSTITUTION: A vibration generator vibrates a portable terminal. A motion sensor senses the motion of the portable terminal. A controller(180) compares a motion pattern which the motion sensor senses with the indication about a task.
