PURPOSE: A multi-display system and a multi-display method are provided to implement a natural display mode automatically according to user setup. CONSTITUTION: An image processing unit(202) processes a signal corresponding to an entire image in order to display a divided image on a display device. A display unit(203) displays the divided image. A user input unit(204) is inputted with a separation distance which will be set between the plural divided images comprising the entire image. A control unit(205) controls the image processing unit so as to process the signal corresponding to the entire image based on the separation distance inputted by the user input unit.
