<p>The method involves verifying whether a condition for modification of a path due to an obstacle is fulfilled. Criteria depending on parameters are determined when the condition is fulfilled, where the parameters include a risk of collision with obstacle, a spatial deviation with the initial path, and a remaining time before reaching a predicted destination. Information relative to a bypass path is determined from a current position of the obstacle, where the bypass path avoids the obstacle while reaching the destination. The information is utilized to assist piloting of the vehicle. An independent claim is also included for a device for assisting piloting of a vehicle moving along an initial path in an environment provided with an obstacle.</p> |
