PURPOSE: A method of updating information in the information providing site and a system for performing thereof are provided to update the item information to the latest information offered by a specific site. CONSTITUTION: The specific item information of a specific site is displayed in the information providing site(S110). A user input for selecting one item is received from a user terminal(S120). The displayed item information discords with the information about the selected item offered by the server offering the specific site(S130). The selected item information is updated to the information extracted from the server offering the specific site(S140). The updated item information is displayed in the information providing site(S150).
