<p>The method involves estimating a mass flow rate of a coolant e.g. supercritical coolant e.g. carbon-di-oxide, in a coolant compression unit (12) based on density of the coolant at an inlet of the coolant compression unit. Power, absorbed by a coolant compressor (11), is estimated based on characteristic parameters of the compressor, isentropic compression performance of the compressor, estimated mass flow rate and rotation speed of the compressor. The isentropic compression performance of the compressor is calculated based on a coolant suction temperature at the inlet.</p> |
