<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optimization processing method of determining optimum mounting conditions in a short time without taking labor and time. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The optimization processing method, in which a computer optimizes the mounting conditions for allowing at least one or more component mounting machines 100 to mount a plurality of components on a substrate, includes: acquiring restriction data 219a associated with the mounting conditions (step S102); determining whether the component mounting machines 100 can mount the components satisfying restrictions that the restriction data 219a represent (step S104); reporting that the mounting is impossible (step S108) when it is determined that the mounting is impossible (N in the step S104); and optimizing the mounting conditions satisfying the restrictions (step S106) when it is determined that the mounting is possible (Y in the step S104).
