<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven compressor for improving manufacturing efficiency, by reducing manhours and time required for installing an airtight terminal and processing a part, by reducing the number of part items. <P>SOLUTION: The airtight terminal 41 is arranged in a through-hole 2c arranged in a motor housing 2. A flange part 42b arranged in the motor housing 2 is arranged in a terminal body 42 of the airtight terminal 41. The airtight terminal 41 is checked in slipping out to an external part by passing through the through-hole 2c.
