PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of driving a plurality of panels while suppressing an increase in a size of a small panel such as an EVF (electric view finder). SOLUTION: The display device 1 drives two panels 20, 30, wherein a panel power supply circuit is included only in a main monitor 30 and is used as a panel power supply for a sub monitor 20. As the panel power supply circuit, for example, a negative power supply circuit 36 generating a negative power VBB is employed and a horizontal clock signal CKH is used as a driving signal of the negative power supply circuit 36. An AND circuit 40 controlling ON/OFF of a horizontal scanning circuit 34 of the main monitor 30 is provided; and the horizontal scanning circuit 34 is controlled into an OFF state when only the sub monitor 20 is rendered into a display state.
